Established in 1986 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Advanced Communication Design, Inc. (ACD) quickly became recognized as a leading global developer and manufacturer of in-store communication technologies. Always the trail-blazer, we were the first to introduce user-interactive, digital audio/video services to retail in 1988. The rest, as they say, is history.
Today, 21 years later, ACD continues to lead the way with inspired new designs that exceed current marketplace demands for targeted communication technology. ACD has created a significant portfolio of products, ranging from modular PCI circuit boards and software to fully deployable turn-key systems. Our consumer-centric, multi-level component designs are flexible in their responsiveness and compatibility to the varied needs of retailers.

OUR CULTURE
On a typical work day, visitors to ACD's headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota won't observe the staff dressed in suits and ties or other "business formal" attire. What they will see is a very dedicated and diverse, comfortably dressed cast and crew diligently attending to the tasks at hand.
